My philosophy normally is
Newer = Better (please notice the word normally). |
Vista was never better than XP | I have Vista, it's far better. I haven't had ONE problem that wasn't easily fixed.
As for XP, I had to reinstall it like 4 times because it kept fucking up.
Yes there are new errors, plenty, but all-in-all it has just about as many errors as XP. The errors just appear to be more visible+frequent on Vista.
Almost all the new errors lie within Vista 64-bit which is exactly what I'm using. Vista 32-bit is just like using XP but with new interface, addons, etc...
So if anyone here gets Vista and you don't want to fix any bugs/errors, then 32-bit is the way to go. You won't get some of the fancy interface customization options, but it functions much more smoothly than 64-bit. |
microsoft already admitted that Vista was a failure there is not point in fighting again over this xP
Vista was a failure mostly because of the unnecessary ram & processor eating

True.
I gonna go from XP 32bit to Win7 64bit very soon.
XP 64bit, sucks way to buggy.
XP 32bit > Vista 32bit
Vista 64 > Xp 64
Win7 64 > All other windows'es

I thought CS3 sucked, and I haven't tried out CS4 yet.
is there any actual difference between them all asides from how they look? |
This. I only use PS for recreational work so CS2 is good enough. I haven't seen a need to change to CS4 yet

| Well, I honestly do not know what they differ in. Don't they all pretty much have the same features or something?

I'm an extreme beginner, but I have CS4.
Is CS2 any simpler than CS4?
Also, which one takes up less visual space? I'm using a 15 inch monitor at the moment. I intend to get a 22" widescreen in the near future, but which would be best for my current situation?

| I prefer CS4, only version I've ever used and I don't plan on trying out the others any time soon.
