It's actually a lot easier with firebug or the Chrome JS console... I would know. After all, I wrote the JS you're trying to bypass.

Also, keep in mind, that was never meant to be a fool-proof way to prevent cheating. Think about it. You could always just take screenshots of the content, print the pages to PDF and refer back to them during the test, etc, etc... There's a million ways to cheat for any online curriculum / schooling platform, and if you're going to cheat, no client-side deterrent is going to stop you, clearly. The bottom line is, things like the JS cookie timer this thread is referring to are simply measures to _ discouraging_ cheating, and perhaps give you an extra 10 seconds or so to think about how silly it is to try to cheat on something as easy as K-12 stuff. Bottom line, you're memorizing some facts for a few minutes until the quiz/test. Do you REALLY need that second tab open with the chapter open while you're taking the quiz? Probably not if you're smart and proactive enough to go looking for a JS hack to bypass the single-window restriction in the first place.
