why not use the resource edit came with VSC++ pro. it has everything you need.

Like any other window, dialogs have a message loop. Since it looks like you want hotkeys, on initialization (WM_INITDIALOG (DialogProc)), use RegisterHotKey. Using that hotkey, respond to WM_HOTKEY using the corresponding ID adding your statements there.

My version always crashes VSC++ for some weird reason...
