Actually, I'm pretty sure you can. I built mine from the exact same things, only it's a dual core, and it cost me $450-ish.
My build:
Mobo: EVGA nForce 650i
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200 2.2Ghz
Memory: 4 Crucial Ballistix 1024MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz
HD: WD Caviar 160GB
Graphics: Geforce 8400 GS
This build was more than six months ago so I'm sure you could do one like you want. I had to cut some corners though. Switch the dual for a quad and you have a comp that costs about $450-ish, and since your budget is 500-600, you wouldn't need to cut corners like I did. I'm not particularly good with recommendations, so someone else will have to help you switch things out.
EDIT: Threw together a quick one for $475 tell me if you want to see it. It includes mobo (680i), ram(2x 2gb), cpu (quad-core q6600), hd (250gb), psu and case.

Sorry about that comment, It wasn't meant to be a "smart-ass" one. It was just my way of saying it's better to build one (IMO). |
i would like to see the build on a canadian site
looks like that it can run rappelz and combat arms with maplestory in VMware with no problems
