Any game that is well threaded is going to do far better on a Quad core. Especially with the 'Games for Windows' requirements, this is going to only become more prevalent as time goes on.



Even if a game doesn't make wonderful use of your extra cores, that doesn't mean something else can't while you game.

2 threads to the game, 2 more encoding, etc. IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES.

get an intel p45 board and a 4850.
about $100 cheaper.
