Dual booting XP and Vista does not solve the problem that your having.

It's really better off that you tell us what is the brand name for your laptop
and its model number.

Btw, if you got a Dell with a "Centrino logo" sticker, then on the bottom there will be a label with your wireless model number.

I have a TOSHIBA Satellite A100 pro
Model: PSAA9C-JH200E
I have an Intel Celeron M sticker on my laptop
Built-in Intel® PRO Wireless 3945ABG

The specifications page you provided has a Intel Core 2 Duo processor on it not an Intel Celeron M. That is the wrong model.
