I know but rawr, I'm getting nowhere with C as it is.
Yes, I'm learning for the sake of learning, but within that, I need to feel a sense of achievement throughout. :P
Then again, Jewbacca did warn me that even though I should learn C, it'd half kill me doing so. :P

Move to java then. It's better than C#.

OK, new question

first: after reading all this i decide to C++ cause i don't like .net and i want a programming language for linux + windows

Who can teach me / help me on any IM? (and which one)
Should be near my timezone

UTC+1 MEZ
UTC+2 MESZ (march to october)

1. is C# similar to C++ No clue.
2. is C++ BETTER? I learned C++ better then C# so yes.
3. language would you recommend me to start with (C or C++) C++
4. what programm you recommend? (dunno if there are many, just say name pls maybe one that looks like vb6 would be nice but doesnt realy matter)
Visual C++ 2008

5. may anyone give me a good tut? I make videos on youtube.
6. would any one help me? (on MSN/ICQ or Yahoo) Sure, if its not like making the program for you.

BTW Java sucks, it's friggin slow =/

Oh, if you're looking for tutorials, I suggest you to read books first.

Java takes a long time to start, but then its fine. It is great for server side stuff since the VM only starts once and isn't restarted all the time like with client applications.

1. i want to learn programming cause i know vb and it can't realy do so much so i want a better language and i also want one for linux too

2. i agree, i hate java too

3. how do i use console compiler "Borland C++" from sticky?

4. Do i need .net for visual C++
