What I meant about the offsets, is the stuff inside the structure. For example: is the offset from the start of the structure to 'pebbaseaddress' always the same?

Myself, I prefer dynamically linking, because almost everyone has the redist package installed nowdays, since many games, etc, require it. So, if you've the package, you don't need to DL it anymore in a static linked executable -> saves B/W and HDD space (not that much, but anyway, a bit ). I suggest you to change your "multithreaded" back to "multithreaded dll."

Thanks for the information, I never really watched those file sizes. It's just that the first app I made in vc++ had that problem when I tried to run it on another machine, so I just changed it to multithreaded. I'll think about changing it back.

Well, they should stay the same, since Microsoft has made the structure public and that's why it's a little risky for them to change it. Of course they could change it and note about it on MSDN or something, but it isn't very likely. As long as the OS is based on NT, it'll probably stay the same.
Anyway, if you read about developing software, especially object-oriented, you'll notice that they warn you about making stuff (ie. structures, functions, methods, etc) public and changing it later. I can't get reference atm, but you'll find some if you read some books.
