If you haven't order it yet, change that Q6600 to a retail one.
The retail gives you a 3 year warranty while the OEM get 1 year and Intel does not do RMA on OEM cpus.

As for those case fans... try to find one that uses those prongs where you plug it directly to your motherboard because those molex types does not lets you adjust the speed. It will run at full blast and create a ton of noise. Those prong types can be adjusted through the motherboard bios.
