He said he's only used 20Gb over the past 2-3 years. Now why would he need 500gb?
Jesus Christ common sense.

If space isn't necessary, he should get a 10,000 RPM drive. 80GB 10,000 RPM Hard drive is around the same price as a 500GB 7,200 RPM drive.

@Bio: I've put a lot of thought into every part, i don't appreciate you coming in here, ignoring what i said and giving useless suggestions. I know i need a new mobo and possibly a new case, i said it earlier.

@Rapion: Thanks for the suggestion but i'll stick with the one i have now. I don't care much for RPM or more space.

Now i've done a bit more searching for a new mobo and have found 2 that i'm not sure which would be better.

Or

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135093

I'm getting a 32bit os but might get a 64bit to utilize more ram but i'm not sure what difficulties 64bit may cause. I might SLI but i'm not sure if i'd need it since once it starts getting outdated i'm thinking of selling it on craigslist or to a friend or something and building a new one so not much need to future-proof it.

Which do you guys/gals think i should go with?

Edit:
I went ahead and decided on the gigabyte mobo but it's still open for discussion since i may be wrong, i also decided on a new case and since i switched back to intel i changed my GPU back to 8800gt. Finally i've decided on a new case (ATX since MATX mobos seemed to suck with the LGA 775 socket)

New Case - $80
New Mobo - $99
New GPU - $111

The graphic card you want right now is the HD4850.
As for mobo and case...

How about this mobo?
Asus P5Q SE/R
This one uses the ICH10R which supports RAID, the non-raid version cost exactly the same.

That board was at close to the price range you picked, as for what would of picked then how about this?

As for your case... beauty is in the eye of the beholder... if you like it then go with it.

contrast ratio is not the only thing to look at.

just because it's an LCD doesn't mean it uses the same type of panel.

IE S-IPS vs TN
