eset smart security/nod32 is awesome. i haven't had a virus on any computer at home since i installed nod32. i don't usually get viruses anyway on my computer, but on the other computers no viruses as of yet.

anti virus software companies, who's main focus is to produce protection software, would probably have better protection than a windows live application. i could be wrong, but nod32 ftw.

There are many great free anti-virus software downloads. If you are going to purchase one though, I don't recommend "Windows Live One care" or anything Kaspersky related. I only say this about Kaspersky because I myself, in my own personal experience in using the product, had terrible results.(No flaming. Lol) It blocked all of FireFox's connections to the internet, and detected Opera as spy ware, and eventually completely closed Port 80. I had to do a full system restore to a previous month to repair the damage, and that was just the beginning. I recommend Zone Alarm, which has a very secure security suit, or NOD-32. Good luck, and I hope some of the information I gave proves useful to you.

i never said to get nod32 for free, and i'm pretty sure that my free copy of it is in english. torrentz seem pretty free to me. and even if it was in italian, i'd still understand it.
