Yea, but my current video card (geforce 6200) can play assassin's creed and BF2 just fine (no graphic errors) but I just needed a faster CPU so i decided to try something new. (dual core and an AMD cpu/motherboard)

High-end gaming usually refers to Crysis, World In Conflict, Supreme Commander, and others. Yes, you should be able to play those games but at the lowest possible settings. Even then there will probably be stutters.
