I remember seeing this being sold from HP about a year ago and I remember reading something about how the case boosts up cooling and has all these little bonuses. The most expensive case I've seen is probably 1000 dollars. So adding that to Bam!'s list, about 2800 and so the rest comes up to about 500 bucks. I honestly don't think it's that bad of a price for a commercial computer.

no way , 500 gig is about 1000.00 or 1500.00 max. that is a scam.

That system is worth about $1700 as bam said. Get an Antec 900, and a nice watercooling loop from petra's, and save about $1200.
