PROS: Better looking interface, more responsive on high end machines, DX10 (which is more of a marketing limitation than a technical one, some useful features but nothing revolutionary.

CONS: Inefficient/bloated, DRM, needs a high end machine to run smoothly. It's also incompatible with a lot of software and hardware, though I've gotten all of my hardware and software to work with a little bit of messing around, with the exception of my old SB LIVE!, but that's too old to be useful really.

Overall, if we're talking about a high end machine I'm indifferent about it, I don't really like or dislike it. On a low end machine, XP wins hands down.

Eh...if you want vista get vista. I've seen it been managed but honestly I think you should wait 'til Window 7 (Vienna) comes out. That I love about Vista, is that it has so uptight security that it even checks to see if you want to run things made by the Microsoft Corporation.
