When you downloaded this you DID NOT download a keygen. You basically directly downloaded a virus. 99 percent of keygens on random google keygens sites = virus.

ok kool thnx for the replies, but let me give more details on this "keygen" i downloaded. it was NOT a virus, because my antivirus could not find it, and trust me, nod32 has never failed me, so i doubt it was a keygen. Umm second, when i clicked it, a command window popped up for about 2 secs displaying something like "1 file active" or something near that. then it closed, my desktop refreshed, and then some fake antiviruses appeared.
then everytime i was on the internet, it would give me popups telling me to download this this crap.

what im trying to get across is that it was a program that installed in 2 secs, very small in memory. not a virus.

im just stating what i experienced just to tell you that it was more of a program that took away my admin privilages. kinda like how in school you cant right click or change stuff.

also fullyawesome, i know what you mean by msconfig, ive done it alot. but the settings on that are still the same, and i have no programs that make the computer start up slow. its not really that it starts up slow, it starts up, then the hdd busy light stops for about 1-2 mins, then the desktop icons appear, like a delay on displaying not a constant freze up.
