I have a question regarding ASM too. I tried the below inline asm codes but visual c failed to compile the code.

DWORD add1 = 0x00458769
_asm {
jne add1 ;this line fail
jne [add1] ;this line failed too
ret }

If i use jne 0x00458769, the generated ASM code using IDA is jnz $+6, which is also wrong.

I came out with a idea, which is jne LABEL, at label use JMP add1. Is this the right way?

Make sure your code executes this asm code when its need to. (make a code cave)
