hmm http://www.opera.com/download/ is the fastest browser
but of the 2 firefox is faster but takes more memory and loads slower
my default is internet explorer for that reason
depending on what im doing on the internet i use all 3 of these mentioned here

I'd say that most people use internet explorer, only because they don't know how much better Firefox is and/or they dislike change.
