Pros: Anyways for your question if a good programmer can get around any firewall, then why don't you see hackers hacking into punk busters? Even if they can a firewall (anti-virus) will tell you if anyone is trying to use a program on your computer with out you knowing so.

Cons: The problem with most firewalls are they interfear with programs and can lag your computer pretty badly if you do not have a good computer.

me: I think if you are a good computer programmer or a half decent one you don't need a firewall. If you are just a average gamer then you might want to use one.

Anyone who will argue with you on this needs an anti virus because they are so stupid. Two rules of safe computing: 1. don't download and run random shit you can't trust. 2. if you absolutely have to run it, don't give it administrator privileges! _________________
