But Avira is not that good =x, lags when update + bad. That is the one that my cousin use.. and he had to reformat 4 times in a year for virus. And i had 2 years without any reformt, just reformat, when the HD are full =x |
Update is slow only in the free version, which I don't use.
Plus the free version doesn't detect some types of trojans, etc.
I haven't gotten a virus ever since I've been using Avira;
And the latest results @ Av-Comparatives gave Avira a good score.
By the way, I use Avira Premium Security Suite (Firewall is good for inbound; outbound is OK. Virus defenitions are updated 1 to 2 times a day.) with SUPERAntiSpyware on-demand and DropMyRights. |
Oh well, I don't know which version he actually use.
Even in the most case of good anti-virus, the user protection, is most likely defined by him. Anyhow, (this could be get as an example too) in you web page of the best anti-virus, avast is in the first place, it's not that bad if you really fucked up you PC, but as an detector.. is such like Norton in my opinion, that where the 1st one (believe or not, the same cousin) that my cousin had, by his friend, which gave it to him. And as always, his PC get fucked (He have some kind of curse, he always fuck his PC up) . My general point is, that if the user like one Anti-Virus, stick with it most likely =/, just like i where with norton, before get fucked up. Now, im stuck with NOD32.
