|
Having A Really Weird And Annoying Problem With My Internet
Every Single File I Download Is Semi-Corrupted
For Example Here is A Song I Downloaded
It Has A Weird Set of 00's And 55's (Hex Editor)
And Here is A Game I Downloaded
The Really Weird Thing is After The 00's There Are Normal Data Just Like If Some Data Were Replaced By 00's
Im Not A Professional At Internet Stuff So Any Help is Really Appreciated

Apparently you are not a professional at hex editing either.
But if you can't access your files at all, its probably your stupid antivirus. They are known to block your access to things it thinks are viruses without giving you any option or notification it did so. Get rid of it and all your files should be fine.
If you can access your files fine and just think those bytes are there for weird reasons, learn hex editing

i mean hex view not hex edit lol (you know just open a file in a hex editing program, i use HxD)
anyway i dont have an anti-virus program i also have disabled windows defender
but first im very sure thats those 00's in a mp3 file (first image) are weird if i play the song it skips like 1-5 seconds then just continues playing [ i mean seriously what is the point of 00's in a song.mp3 lol ]
and the second picture is an swf flash game and when i run it it just wont run with the error 'Movie Not Loaded' (Corrupted SWF For Sure)
And Another Thing is I Tried Downloading The Files With Internet Download Manager And It Gave Me error corrupted file for like 3 times and starts downloading all over again

Files contain padding for various things. Be it alignment, structure padding, etc. Just because there are 00's in the file does not mean its corrupted or anything of that sort.
Perhaps check the source of where you are downloading the file from and that it is not damaged from the source to begin with.

ok to verify, The Song I Downloaded is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtveSk1N7Uo
i downloaded the mp3 file using http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
and the resulted file was This
if you listen to the song on youtube at 00:16-00:18 there is no problem but the file i downloaded if you listen at 00:16 it just stops (or skips) so im pretty sure its corrupted
but i have a question: could my isp be the cause? cause my isp really really sucks
edit: by the way i also tried downloading .rar file and winrar gave me an error saying exactly "the file is corrupted" so..... xD

It's possible it's your ISP (or the modem/firmware they provide you with)
Mine sometimes would corrupt downloads as soon as I downloaded with max speed
See if other download protocols cause issues as well. (https instead of http, or even just scp or ftp )

i've noticed that when downloading the files that gets corrupted the download speed goes 500KB/s+ while my normal internet speed is about 100KB/s so that could be the reason but i cant really control the downloading speed ( i tried limiting the download speed but nothing changed ) so i guess im stuck? is there any possible fix?
and yea i tried downloading some files using torrent did not get corrupted at all...

Yeah, the same crap I had to deal with as well.
Try contacting your ISP and see about a replacement modem or updated firmware due to corruption in the HTTP protocol. (That's the issue with those 'smart' modems. They optimize your data, and sometimes lose pieces while doing so...)

Do this test:
1. look for a big file on your hard drive. Do SHA1 checksum of that file.
2. Upload it somewhere
3. Download it, do not overwrite the original file.
4. Do SHA1 checksum
5. Compare checksums
About zeroes and 55's inside mp3 files. It is a very common thing.

@Dark Byte
I Will Try To Contact My ISP But Most Of The Time Contacting My ISP Results in Nothing But Waste of Time And Crap (It Really Sucks xD)
@mgr.inz.Player
I Uploaded A Video ~30 MB And As Expected The Two Files Where Different
The Original File Had SHA1 Checksum of
Code: | f1bdd8dfaa642240e01fbdc020db45456e3f9fa5 |
And The Downloaded File Had SHA1 Checksum Of
Code: | 5d3abdc5f5b893329bf822082735dc0c24a219ec |
Totally Different Checksums
In Hex View The Downloaded Video Had An Insane Amount Of 00's While In The Original It Was Normal Data
@greatsage
I Will Format My PC in This Week So I Don't Know, But I Really Dont Fall To Viruses That Easily Just Saying xD Anyway I Will Do A Virus Scan And See The Results And My Hard Drive is Good Its Working No Problem

i used this cheat engine to download a 720p hd movie using ummy video downloader.
i made only a very mild increase in speedhack, even not more.
At last after the file was downloaded it was not even playable by VLC.
My time wasted in downloading. This is really a cheat software.
Since i ll be busy in selecting genuine software i ll wont even reply if some bark bad at me for my comment since i have no time to pay attention to their barks
I just intimated what i suffered.

you're correct. speedhack will not increase your download speed, then again, no one in this topic has said it does, so....

So you realize your stupidity and telling us in advance you're going to run if we point it out lol
As you find out, speedhack only works for games because it just messes with the time. Your internet speed is limited by the ISP, there simply won't be any more data transmitted than what your ISP allows.
You also can't hack your life with it, it just won't work.
