Those awkward feelings are a necessary part of a conversation. I think girls think that shit is cute cause it shows you care if you're a little nervous. The hard part is pushing through that, and then you got some room to work with. I find the best way to lessen the awkward moments is to not acknowledge them as awkward, but just as natural pauses in the conversation. These pauses also allow you to make a move if it is a girl, so just look her in the eyes and you can tell how she feels about you. Then this would also be a good time to start KINO, which is touching in a way that creates anchors to help them relate you with good vibes. Awkward is only awkward usually because one defines it as awkward - like when girls say AWKWARD! - but wait nothing was awkward until they said anything and they are just looking for attention anyway. Just laugh it off and use these awkward moments to advance your attachment.
Also there is no such thing as a perfect conversation, you might walk away thinking you did terrible when they think you're a profound individual, so it is all perspective. Just be yourself (cliche), and be social and outgoing without being annoying and you're good. There will always be some slip ups just recover, and try to be funny as well that helps a lot.

Maybe up to the age of 16.
I've been told time and again that the best thing I do on a first date is look right at the girl, ignore everything else, talk with purpose and act like I know what I want. Remember, always have an answer and never show fear, embarrassment, or any weakness. Just be James Bond and girls eat that shit up.

| I like my girls around 18, so maybe that explains that. All girls are different I'm just saying the awkwardness is a normal thing to experience at some point.

I usually play the funny, shy-ish, cute, 'I don't know anything about flirting'-kind of guy, and it works. Also pretend to be jealous of other guys when I'm not.
I guess everyone just has their own way of getting girls that works for them, and a certain type of girls they like. Cute stuff wouldn't work on certain types of girls but those aren't the types I'd want to get with anyway.

If you're asking that question right now, in the current conditions of the sexual/romantic market, don't even try until you're 30.
Until then, just stack the moneyz. I'm serious. Don't waste your time on the immature girls who don't know what they want.
