Best hand-held console I've ever touched...
But I have no games, aside from the free ones you can download from the PSN.
Anything I should know? Software/game suggestions?

I played some demos before I bought it, I know it's a damn powerful device compared to most portable devices its size.

Even though the PSVita is powerful, most of their games that are released are weak. That and Sony lost a LOT of money on PS Vita's, so we can easily expect a price drop.

PS3 had no games, it does now. PSVita has no exclusive games, but has a rather large library of games regardless.
Not like I'll use it more than my PC, but I like having the freedom to play PSVita titles. Same reason I have an Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and a Wii.

Sony would make a lot more sales if they had better game releases during the launch. I would have bought the Vita on day 1 if they offered a new Spyro game (and none of that Skylanders shit), or some other famous title.
The Uncharted game is neat, sure, but I'd never buy a console to play Uncharted... not that great of a series.
Like... the Xbox 360 has Halo, if they released a new Halo game with the launch of the next gen Xbox it would make great sales. All of the Halo fans (pretty much every Xbox owner) would hate to be left out of a new Halo experience.
Sony needs to choose an exclusive title that has a larger fan-base next time. I'm not really sure what game would be better (aside from Spyro), but Uncharted was a pretty bad choice, regardless of being a best-selling Playstation 3 title. All I can think of is Spyro or Ratchet & Clank...
Hell, even if they made a completely new franchise, but it would have to look really good.

You can play PSP games on the PSV right?
if so get Crisis core best game I have ever played on my psp 1st gen
also the syphon filter and MGS series are good as well
as for there not being a lot of games they are releasing a shit ton soon |
