He proceded to tell me by using a PC I was garunteed to have virsus'
I told him that any competent user doesnt get them.
He kept on going.
I told him the only reason he would get virsus is because of all the midget porn he would be downloading.
He told me macs dont get virsus.
So I asked him if thats why he bought one, so he wouldnt get virsus with his midget porn.
I rage quit.

Well, it's true.
Theoretically, every PC user is guaranteed to have a virus. Macs do not have viruses, they simply do not. You can't make a virus on a Mac due to the way the operating system runs.
This is why Macs are better than PCs.

no.
macs don't get viruses because there isn't enough of them to ruin.
because there are more people in the world using windows you're able to fuck up more people.
Also the coding is different with some good ol' .dmg files.
and you get to pay $160 dollars for a new charger rather than $30

I never said they didn't get them, its just unlikely because more people use windows

it is possible to make a virus on any operating system, if you can compile an application, you can you can make a virus. the reason why Mac's are LESS VULNERABLE to viruses is the simple reason that not very many people have them (yet). because of this, hackers do not see the point of attacking macs when they can attack a pc and fuck up a lot more computers. this will change soon due to the shitload of people buying a mac everyday.
