Ok, so I'm going to be making a hardware autoclicker, following Skyone's schematics:
I have everything except for the capacitor, I forgot to get that when I was at Radioshack.
I am wondering how do you set the timer to run at a certain PPS (pulse per second) ?
Me and Cheetah were thinking it was with the resistors, but I'd like to be sure. _________________

The experience, I've never actually made something. _________________

Lets say I wanted 30 PPS... What kind of cap should I get? _________________

Hang on you said that your getting about 15 PPS on the 4.7uF, right? And you want it to be double the PPS (i.e. 30 PPS), wouldn't it make more sense to half the farad capacity of the capacitor so that it takes less time for it to build up the required charge and release it?
It's been a while since I've messed with circuitry, so I could be wrong, but the higher farad rating on a capacitor means that it takes longer for that capacitor to build up the charge.
I would try to not change the resistors because that would change the voltages and amperage of the current that you are pushing through the wires and that could have undesirable results.
Then again, it's been a while since I've done that kind of stuff, so I could be wrong. |

I have a 10 uF cap now, I'm going to test it out. _________________
