| Shitty onboard sound connected to a reciever powering a pair of Polk R50's, don't need anything special because since it uses SPDIF the quality isn't affected by the sound card just the reciever. For my headset I have an old Sound Blaster Audigy of some sort. Nothing too exciting. |

I have the headset too, It's not that huge... It feels pretty comfortable and it looks great. Nice Sound Card, I have a HD 7.1 Onboard sound, but not as good as yours by a lot. |

ever since my PSU exploded (antec fucked me in the ass) my PCI slots stopped working. so my audigy 2 just sits there and does nothing.
on the gaming front, soundcard use is being phased out. doing it all in software is fast and sounds fine. CS:S is a good example. |

Screen went black playing Call of Duty 2. Video error post beep.
Figured... oh shit, guess video card decided to die horribly for no good reason at all.
RMA
Get it back, playing Battlefield 2142, smell what smells like burning truck tire. Screen goes black again. Video error post beep.
RMA
Not so much exploded as cooked. Only 1 PCI-E slot worked after that, and no PCI slots work. It wasn't a horrible loss, but I've been using a $60 600w cheap ass PSU since with no problems. This happened right after I built it too. |
