can someone help me when I try to compile Ce theres is an error that saysTrainer.res can not be found? Crying or Very sad

Pls help.

I get the same error when I try to compile 5.2.82 without doing anything to it >_<. Either the way I'm trying to compile is messed or the source is messed. I tried with ddk 2000 free build environemnt like we're suppose to, type cd C:\ [file directory], then compile and it spits this error after about 30 seconds

you're not suposed to compile cheat enign using the ddk. you need to use delphi
Only compile the driver with the ddk

Thanks Darkbyte. Delphi gotcha. It says trainerwithassembler.exe was missing so I made a nopepad docment with that name and saved as a .exe.

I dissabled debugger because the compiling FAQ told me to disable the msg ("A: Ignore them. To get rid of them disable that type or error poping up or go to settings and give some hotkeys a key.") but I could figure how, so I took out debugger altogether.

It's a good idea to know how to compile CE 5.2 with unedited sources before you try to edit it was my idea Wink

EDIT: Fixed somethings

Now, MS cant detect my UCE when im logging in but when I click my character, my computer freezes (doesnt reboot by itself). Does this mean there are more strings I have to edit? Weird kinda how it freezes after I log in >_<.

I get it too, and i also get some errors about missing .dcu files when they aren't missing Confused

And does anyone know how to fix this error when i try to compile the .sys:
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'cl' : return code '0x2' Confused

EDIT: The NMAKE error is just that i used the wrong free build environment Embarassed

is it just me, or does anyone else notice that when ever someone asks for help about the trainer.res file cant be found error, no one seems to help. i searched for it, yet i still couldn't even find any help on it. I just don't know if it's done purposely, or if no one really knows... i get the error too, and i would really appreciate any help at all... thanks!

ok there darkbyte... i've already said in a different thread that i tried that and i still got the same error... so much for searching.... for you. i know your some real smart guy, and you help out alot, but i would never post something like that unless i'm telling the truth. i used 3 different sources, and every single time i try to compile USING DELPHI i still get the error. the part that realy made me go over the top is that when i changes all the exports, and everything it wouldn't compile and i got that error. so, i tried compiling without editing any of my sources, yet nothing happens but the trainer.res error. i have no accomplishments in this UCE thing, but im pretty sure, that if i can actually get it to compile, then i could successfuly make it.

yes DB, im sorry, i shouldn't of said anything in the first place. i guess my problem is that i cant really understand that. like which part, creating the file? because it is a different error i don't think so. but that part about not allowing the error, i dont realy understand, and i would rather not delete anything. please help me, i am in need of learning, hopefully when i start learning c++ it will seem much easier for me...

create a fille called "trainerwithassembler.exe" (using notepad, or whatever you like) in the cheat engine folder and then click build project.
that should fix your problem

umm, i did that, but i get alot of warnings and hints. do i just ignore them? this time i didnt get any errors though, so that may be a good sign. last question, what do i do after i compile ce, where does it go?
