see images: [ https://ibb.co/album/Jv9XBL ]
first: on Windows 10 no problems whatsoever
(or at least as far as i know)
What happens: when 'rebuilding' the form (= rerun script that builds the form), it'll start "deforming" the form as shown in image.This ONLY happens when using the fixDPI() function ?!
Obvious Q: how to fix this, if any ?
I could not find a solution here, but google suggested:
a) Change high DPI settings via ce_exe properties: nogo
=> i can not ask my users to do this anyways.
b) Inform CE your initial monitor scaling:
myForm.DesignTimePPI = 96
...
-- Forces Cheat Engine to scale fonts and controls correctly
myForm.fixDPI()
=> does not work either.
ps: atm i've just disabled it, and do not have any issues with it. In fact, the suggestion to use this fn came from one of my users (having a 4K monitor ~ i'm "just" at 1920x1280)

use anchoring.
Top Anchor, Left anchor, borderspacing
Connect one control to the one in the top, then the other one under there, or right of it, and autosize the window
also, is your form a frm/lfm or .lua code
(and your issue seems more like a different font for the header and the text at the bottom)

Object is a frm; fonts are/were mostly courier (but now changed all of them to Segoe UI)
Anchors: [ https://ibb.co/GfgPsg0r ]
Most objects are (now) linked to leftborder form, and object above them.
Icons: right border, and above icon
Bottom 2 panels: leftborder+bottom, rightborder+bottom
=> also width/height are changed depending type of info to be listed.
Tried a few other things, but no difference...
fyi: i only introduced this fn recently - and applied to 2 tables - but commented out in both of them... and since no complaints about it - apart from fontsize being 2 small for some - no worries...
I might give it a few more tries, but probably close post evt.
Q: is their a cmd to "reset/restore" original form settings somehow ?
=> if the table uses the form in several (listing) features, chosing any of them other cheats will already have that effect "imposed"

tip: if you don't change the font on any control all controls will use the form font. If you change the font size of the form itself you can see the anchoring at work and the controls should autosize accordingly.
As for the question, for now only destroy the old form and then load it back (you can store the form in a stream and then load it back from there)
