Hello!

I'm having a weird bug with the "Find out what accesses this address" function and Trails to Azure.

I'm using CE 7.6 and Trails to Azure is the GOG copy at v1.11.19. I'm trying to mess with the Boost Gauge feature and this is the only area where the issues arise.

Steps to reproduce buggy behavior:

1. Go to this address/code in the memory viewer:

ao.exe+1C96C4: 01 81 24 61 00 00              - add [rcx+00006124],eax

2. right-click, find out what addresses this function accesses
3. go into battle so we get the address
4. add that address to the address list and close the results window
5. right-click that address in the address list and select "find out what accesses this address"
6. back into battle so we get some results
7. bugs!

Now the bugs/issues in question maybe arise from stack corruption or maybe how the debugger is collecting the data (not sure of the specifics).

So what happens is auto-battle gets turned on in game and can't be disabled. Also, characters get changed into other characters. Furthermore these changes are baked into the save so if you save after these bugs occur, that save is trashed. Stopping the collection doesn't fix/revert the bugs.

I can get around the issue for my needs by collecting the data, then closing both the game and CE. But once you start step 5, the bugs are practically instant. The first battle is fine, but any after that get bugged out.

I can provide a copy of a clean savegame to be used for testing if needs be.

which debugger interface do you use ?
