I have been trying to crack spore for a while, especially since it is crash prone. It was a bit of a learning project for pointers, and I thought I had succeeded. Then, the pointers didn't point right.

I'm not sure if it's something about the game, but I'm trying to figure out how to get the pointers for the game in order to not have to search every time. Anyone have some info on spore and how to go about it?

Essentially, struggling with pointer scans for this game. Not sure where I messed up.

did you use different pointermaps?
And make sure to never click stop. If you click stop all results are useless (unless you click stop with resume and finish it later, in combination with different maps)

I used three, before I read up something about restarting my PC before creating a pointermap.

I need some clarity with this:

- Should I be restarting my PC for each pointermap?
- Should I just be restarting the game?

Each pointermap I've used has been from restarting the game and relocating the values.

Restarting the game is good, but restarting the PC is better, and restarting and using a different user account even more so, and using another PC would be the best
