Cheat Engine Forum FAQ: """Can I ask about online cheats?
Yes, but you are not allowed to mention the game's name or post specific information about the game like screenshots or more than 10 lines of continuous assembler code (In short, yes, but you will most likely not get what you want)"""
Just making sure if someone comes to this topic, they know I'm not breaking any rules...
Hello! For context: I've been trying to find a specific value in an online game. I've been able to find many other values, such as the player X and Y position, player Life, Stamina, Energy, Angle of Attack, and even found my enemy X and Y position (even though it's through a non unique AOB that i have to filter some things out in my script and it's not 100%, but works for now), but i can't seem to find the correct address for the current wind value.
I've been doing searches using Unknown Initial Value, and Changed/Unchanged values, with Value Type set to All, and I'm also scanning for read-only memory (writable box is greyed out) addresses, and do not care if it's executable or not, also have tried using Fast Scan with 1 Byte of Alignment.
I do find many addresses (about 600 or so), and they seem to be encrypted (they do not hold the values shown in the screen, instead of showing 1, 2, 3, it shows 4279113752 when the wind is 1 for example, but they seem elusive, if i resize the window for example, they do not stick, all the addresses do not work anymore.
I have tried using an AOB scan, and finding the address, translating the value to what i can visually understand, but it also only works on the current game run, when i restart the client, everything else I've found still works (Life, Player Position, Enemy Position), but the wind AOB no longer works.
I really don't know to fetch this value, if someone can help me out, i will be really happy!
Thanks in advance, att clib_

Assisting people in cheating at online games is not what we do here, sorry man.

as long as you don't mention anything that gives away what game (like processname or codesnippets) you can talk about it. (so most of the time it's not useful anyhow)
to answer, try 1 byte scans , those aren't normally part of the 'all' type
