basically, im no genius with cheat engine. I'm playing Minecraft dungeons and want to change the emerald value (money). I found the address of the emerald values, but when I change it, it doesn't actually do anything and when I try to update it, it goes to what its supposed to instead of the 'cheated' value.

please don't use fancy cheat engine words cus I'm rly dumb with this kind of stuff.

Edit: I'm in the VEH debugger, and know what writes to it, but how do I change that value?

It's not the real value.

Disconnect from the internet. If you can't use emeralds anymore, give up.

Otherwise, try unknown initial value and changed / unchanged value scans.

Edit: The debugger won't help. If changing the value doesn't work, changing the code that writes to the value probably won't work either. In theory, you could backtrace from a write to the value to find out where it comes from, but that's usually far beyond most people's expertise.
