Hi, I'm trying to make a hitbox display for a 2D fighting game, but given I'm not the best CE user there is I don't exactly know where to start.
From what I could see by googling shit for hours, I first need to find hitbox and hurtbox data (with Cheat Engine, I suppose) before I can draw outlines over them (by hooking the game, since it thankfully supports both OpenGL and DirectX).
How exactly can I do that? I already made "infinite health" cheats, so I can see when a character gets hit, but idk if that's really useful for what I want to do
EDIT: forgot to mention it. The game is named Verdict Guilty (a very poorly programmed game, I'm going through the entire process of learning how to make hitbox viewers just to see how broken it truly is). Don't play it if you value your sanity (unless you like ridiculously fast normals)

I guess you want to check back and forth for collision, like move your player into them and then away, checking for changed and unchanged values.

What kind of value should I be looking for? Floats?
