When scanning for instances my computer becomes unstable and either crashes or the game does afterwards. Is there any fix to this, or is there an alternate method of finding the class instances? I have quite a good CPU (9600k) so I don't feel like it should be so unstable.

On unusually large libraries I have had that happen as well. In those games you just do it the old way. Find a memory value associated with one thing you expect to reside in a larger structure and navigate the instance through the structure dissector. Once you find what you are looking for there you can see what accesses that instruction to shortcut straight there with your scripts.

is your system overclocked? If so, try restoring back to factory settings. CE has the tendency to hit overclock instability issues where normal system stressers do not

Thanks for the answers. Most of my BIOS settings were set to auto and I have never touched the majority of them. I tried changing Multicore enhancement from auto to disabled and CPU core ratio from auto to per core but my computer still crashed after the changes. Might have missed something. I have an ASUS motherboard.

are you using XMP profiles? Try using the normal non-XMP mode

AI overclock tuner was on auto, so I set it to manual. I also tried to turn of intel speedstep which made my CPU frequency static at base clock, but it still crashes. It behaves really odd, for 20 seconds there is no signs of anything happening and suddenly the loading bar finishes and everything starts to freeze.[/img]
