lets say you have a player object. And that object contains health, armor, ammo, x,y and z
But instead of placing those attributes in the same location the game asks windows to get a random spot in memory that it can write to
That means that the player object can be at a random spot in memory.
Also, if you know the location of one of the elements of the object (e.g health) you can then also know the location of armor, ammo, x y and z by just adjusting the address slightly compared to the health address you found
And another method would be to find out where the game stores the address it stores the object, so you can use that and with a offset to set it to the right address

i wonder from what u said
how memory is stored at a spesific place
so like on sa do u think that the "memory" is u and the "space" is where in the rom u r at?
u said u can change where the memory is stored
so if what i thinkis right couldent u change where ur memory therefore u
are stored or in like in the room?
therefore teleporting
im not very good with !making! programs but if someone were good enought meby they could
creat a jif. image of the room with all the spaces"tiles" then find out where the spaces"tiles" are located and somehow make it where
if u click on the square u transfer ur memorey[you] to that location[space"tile"]
therefore teleporting u whereever n the room u wish
so could one with the right knowledge and tehnical smart be able to do that?[ps. the jif. image that i am picturing is like a third too a fith
of the game screen
that could be how people teleport in the future[on the game]
[just an idea] over all question...is all that actually possible?

Yes, that is possible. Not in all games, but in some .

Interesting idea, I didn't catch the name of the game, but in theory you could (with CE) make buttons in the shape of the room's tiles and have each hold the value of the X/Y location for that room. then you click the button of the coresponding tile and it moves you there.
I'm thinking though, that you may be looking at from the wrong perspective, you dont really want to change WHERE the memory is stored, just the value at the pointer's location. so:
Memory = hex value of your location (or room you are in)
and
Space = the free space in your RAM where the Memory is located.
basically you need to find the arbitrary location of the memory, then change its value.... easier than it sounds for some games... for others you dont want to start with something like this.
DMA (Dynamic Memory Allocation) is sometimes used to defer "hackers" so they can't find what they are looking for. Basically you find the pointer (address that tells you which address the memory is in) and edit the value of the address it tells you.
Summary of post for those who hate reading:
Pointer -> Memory Address -> value (location in room)
pointer stays the same (most of the time) but memory address does not, so we use pointer to indirectly edit value.
