I found 2 working 7-level pointers, they work on game levels 1-4 but don't work on level 5. What could be the reason? How can I fix this?

It turned out that they don't work from the beginning of level 5. But if to save and load there, they start to work. How can it be? They work at the beginning of other levels.

Just because you find a pointer path doesn't mean that path means anything to the game. Most paths are just a coincidence. Generating and using multiple pointermaps when scanning for pointers will remove most of these coincidental paths.
Generate another pointermap after you play for 5 levels and filter valid paths using that.

If I used the 7-level limit and found only 2 working pointers started at exe, I need to increase the limit to 8 or more?

I'm not an expert, but in my experience, yes there are times you'll need to raise that limit. You also might want to sometimes experiment with raising the other limits a bit too, and checking out all the advanced settings to make sure they fit what you're looking for.
First save a pointermap and then it's a lot quicker to just experiment switching the advanced settings and limits around to see what results pop up from that saved pointermap, rather than doing a full pointer scan from scratch every time.
