Hi,
I'm currently working with CE / DBVM for kernel debugging. I ran a rdtsc / cpuid / rdtsc test before starting CE, 120 on average. Even after starting CE, 120 on average, when I attach to system process, 1000 - 3000, and then I run a lua script calling
Code: | dbvm_initialize()
dbvm_setTSCAdjust(true,4000) |
timing results are not modified after the call.
Am I doing something wrong?
Sorry forgot to mention, win 10 21H1, intel CPU

instead of 4000 try 2000, or even 500

I tried with 2000, 1500, 1000, 500 and it gives the same results, tsc doesn't seem to be impacted

try dbvm_speedhack_setSpeed(1) first and then use dbvm_setTSCAdjust

unfortunately I still have the same results, my rdtsc / cpuid / rdtsc still goes crazy when I attach the debugger
Code: | dbvm_initialize()
dbvm_speedhack_setSpeed(1)
dbvm_setTSCAdjust(true,1000) |

ah right, those functions don't enable the hook.
try this first:
Code: |
dbvm_enableTSCHook()
