Posted: Fri Dec 03, 2021 11:34 am Post subject: Different Pointers on Pointermap with same Settings?
Hey so first of all I would start with the question, if my Pointerscan Settings are generally good for a big 64bit game (Genshin Impact) and if there are better ones, and the second question is about the Pointerscans itself.
So I generated 1 Pointermap for my Player X Coordinates, restarted the game and generated a new Pointermap again for the Player X Coordinates.
I used these 2 Pointermaps to compare the results while Pointerscanning.
The Pointerscan finished after around 3 hours and I've got like 25k results.
I wanted to save the Pointermap but Cheat Engine just crashed (didn't save anything at all) so I had to redo the scan (using the same 2 pointermaps with the same Pointerscan settings).
Again the second Pointerscan finished after around 3 hours but this time with only 5k results.
How did it find less results with the same Settings and the same 2 Pointermaps, that doesn't make any sense to me?
Btw I use the following Pointerscan Settings:
Max Different offsets per node: 5
Maximum offset value: 10000
Max level: 9
I don't use any advanced options.
If you only selected "Compare results with other saved pointermap(s)" and not "Used saved pointermap", then CE will generate and use a temporary pointermap when you start the scan. _________________
