I noticed starting with I think, 7.3, it was removed.

In case some people are without internet on PC and can only use mobile on WiFi to download it, this renders it unusable.

I just download the downloader in a VM on a machine with access to the internet, I check where it wants to download the package from, then download the package myself, then I extract the package, then I copy that package via USB onto the machine I need it.
A lot of work, I agree. Not sure why it has to be like this.
Dark Byte said on several occasion that he well put up an offline package when he is hot that busy.
Personally, I would rather see Dark Byte busy - the death by popup bug and mono hangs wasted me a lot of time, I would love to see these fixed.
The 7.3 is buggy, I reverted to 7.2.
If you don't have a good reason to use 7.3, use 7.2.
When 7.4 drops, I am pretty sure he will have time to do that offline package.

I can't speak for DB, but my understanding is that Patreon supporters do get the offline installer exclusively, yes.
However, the raw files are not exclusive to them.
And who needs an installer when these days the portable installation is preferred...
Installers were an idea from Microsoft in the good old days because a lot of SW at that time put crap into the System dir and they did not clean it up.
These days nobody worries from having 5 different copies of the same DLL (one for each SW in its own dir), and as a result, the System dir does not get screwed up so much.
However, the idea of installers got stuck for some reason.
I think it makes sense for some software (device drivers or complex packages that has conditions in them) but most software does not need installers anymore.
Just unpack to a stick or your local drive, create shortcut and fire away...

I was able to get "a" setup file by using process hacker 2 to locate the exe and copy it to the desktop before the online setup removes it but it will not allow installation that way.

I am using an unofficial Luna XP theme on Windows 7 if you were wondering why it looks like that.[/img]

No one is going to help you bypass the installer setup here. If you want to have the offline / no ads installer, then support DB on Patreon. Otherwise, just deal with the install as-is.
