Hi, i am trying to write a C++ Win32 API GUI wrapper.
I want to ask how the control properties update system works in Cheat Engine. Is there a timer that checks if the property values have changed, and if so, updates the appearance of the control.
By myself, I'm trying to use a C++ class, which, for example, is a button, and inside it is another class representing some property and having overloaded operators, such as the = operator, the + operator, and etc.
But if i will use further class method, i think i will need really big class with many overloaded operator.
What method can i use to simplify work?

Pascal can enumerate published properties so that's used to fill the list
no idea how to implement that in C++ c, perhaps RTTI ?

In CE that list of properties then is used in a some timer, which check if some of properties for some button, for example, is changed, so then make refreash appereance of this button?
How work this system, published properties - list - refreash appereance? What relationship
Maybe i will found then alterative on c++, for this system.
