If you are looking for a pointer to the address 0X371D9CCC , then on the second instruction from above (where EAX = 0x371D9CC0) you are doing the right thing (Hex ; Extract Value ; 4 Bytes)
Probably, the base value is formed dynamically, and it will be difficult to find it without reversing.
Try playing with the "Memory Scan Options" settings, or use "Pointer scan for this address".
The first is doubtful, and the second has often helped me.

I'll assume you found the correct temporary health address,
you should start by "find what writes", make an in game change and you should get one piece of code (most likely)

I think your error was to search for the value of the 1st register, that's not an address
you should double click the piece of code and it will present you with the code that was executed and a suggestion message saying something like "the address you are searching for is XXXXXXXX"
you copy that address and search for it in Hex.

there can be a few possibilities:
1st you got no piece of code, and them you switch to "find what accesses"
2nd the suggested address is to small to be an address, then you try another peace of code that will have another suggestion.
3rd the address you find is just another pointer, in which case you start all over again, but this time with the new found pointer, but in this case it will be a waste of effort to try what writes, you should select what access > this pointer.

pointers are like pointers to lists of stats/objects/maps etc, so the moment you fount a pointer to one stat you may have found a port way to all the stats:
lets say the last offset is "2E24*4" them the max hp can be with the offset
of "2E25*4"

another error you do is after you found possible pointers

you should only double click it to bring it to the table
in the table you double click its address, mark that it is a pointer and input its offset and press okay

what an irritating game, I tried to find the HP pointers, but failed either manually or with the scanner.
it seems to detect CE and blocks the loading function of the game.
but the game has a build in cheat codes.

During the game, press [TAB] to open the inventor. Choose the laptop
and start it with [E]. Now press the keys [G] + [0] (Zero) together.

Now you can enter the following cheats:
