How do I cheat?

Hello
I'm trying to set up ceserver on my ubuntu 20.04 and connect to it with Cheat Engine. I followed instructions for linux there: github com/cheat-engine/cheat-engine/tree/master/Cheat%20Engine/ceserver got some warnings after using , however I was able to start ceserver and get process list in CE. Whenever i try to Open process from list, it's stuck on | Code: | CMD_MODULE32 returning /usr/bin/gedit : base=9a49b000 size=1000 part=0 (me.part=0)

This happens with different processes.
Any idea what could be wrong there?
I was trying to run CE both in Wine and on other PC in same network, in both cases same result - I can see process list, but after clicking Open button it freezes and nothing happens.
Also tried running that on different port that default, didn't help

The size of some structures used for communication has been changed in the recent commit of ceserver.
In order to comply with this, you need to use the latest version of the main body of the Cheat Engine.

| I've found solution for my problem - I had mismatch between ceserver and Cheat Engine version - had newest CE and ce seems to be compatibile only with version 6.5. Also, I switched to using ceserver executable from download page instead of compiling it myself.
