I more curious as to how some may answer this question. I am also not sure if this is the best place to pose the question. If not - I apologize.
But in your opinions. What method would you consider is the most efficient means to find memory addresses with or without pointers. The most - automated way you can...
I would even like to hear your opinions on doing the same - but outside CE / ASM / or LUA... So in like VS2019..
I have my methods and I more curious on what others consider is a better means to the end.
I appreciate your times in replying.

Cheat Engine is the fastest way for me. Scanning manually for the value. I haven't discovered a way to automatically scan for pointers without user intervention.

@LeFiXER
I love that as an answer.
If I use CE, the best I can figure is a very unique AOB.
In reference to you using CE, what method of "finding" do you use? There is a zillion ways to find addresses (like find just one, then browse memory the rest).
What method or way do you find best overall? Obviously you said your doing things manually - so I guess I will rephrase the question to: What manual way do you find the most effective - I say that in regards to the "least scans to find all the addresses you need".
Thanks!

For you others who prefer CE, whats your most effective and least amount of work? As I said, I AOB.
Outside CE, anything different?

Ahh, in that case. AOB is definitely the fastest (for me). Manual pointer scanning is time consuming. I initially thought that maybe you were asking if there were alternative options to Cheat Engine that could be used to scan for pointers/values because you can, in essence, use a normal debugger like OllyDbg or x64dbg.
I use an AOB injection at the point where the pointer can be stored in a symbol via readmem. Although this method works really well, there are still many scans involved to find all the values, but it's also worth mentioning that each game is different. Typically, games made with Unity are easier to work with since you can just use Mono features of Cheat Engine to find the functions correlating to the kind of hack you want to make.

Once you get your AOB, its worth it in the long run. For example, if something gets updated and the addresses change - which can throw pointers off worse. I feel AOB is alot easier to work with to make it work when Memory Related stuff changes.
But yes - Lots of scans to get it. But SOOO worth it!
