After Modification the application crashes in few minutes.

I am having problem adding a float value in this code :

movss [rsi+rdi*8+04],xmm6

My modification : mov [rsi+rdi*8+04],(float)20

Look at what addresses that instruction accesses- it's probably more than you want.

(might be integrity checks too, but I doubt it)

There are several addresses in there and the address I wanted to change is also there.

Do I need to find the pointer address of the address I want to change ?

You could discern the value you want from others using a pointer, but would a code injection even be necessary if you had a pointer to the value?

See step 9 of the CE tutorial for more information. Plenty of tutorials online about "shared code" too.
