Donald Trump will become a private citizen very soon, and his use of social media to attack his enemies is a trend that will continue even when he leaves office. Twitter and possibly many other social media platforms will deplatform former president Donald Trump so he doesn't have a microphone and can't rally his supporters, similar treatment for what they did with Alex Jones.

Censorship usually creates elevated awareness about the topic you censor, at least temporarily. This could cause Republicans to become angrier in society.
