If anyone is trying to cheat in the Riftbreaker on Steam I figured out how they store the values for resources. Everything is an int32 that is 1000x the displayed number. For instance if you have 56 steel, in memory it is stored as 56000. But there is some randomness to it. So it might be 56203 or 55980 and so on. So what I do is search between two values. If the displayed value is 56, I search between 55000 and 57000.
I hope this helps! The game is really fun but resource management can be a chore. I’ve only played the demo so far.
Thanks to chaosrock for that helpful information. the address that controls what is displayed to the screen is stored as a float. and the integer value described directly corresponds to the float value, just without the decimal. if you start value searches without building a mining factory, then the values will always be whole numbers. That will make it easier to find initial addresses if anyone is looking.
