Hey,

I have a game where I have a value of 1104 visible in the game.

I have found two addresses where this is changing of course this is float value...

So current state looks like this:

value screen: 1104
one float: 4.5390625
second float: 9.528829557E-44

when adding one to screen value looks like this:

value screen: 1105
one float: 4.539550781
second float: 9.80908925E-44

Another change

value screen: 1106
one float: 4.540039062
second float: 1.008934894E-43

Could you guide me how this is being calculated and how to change that? Using cheatengine 6.8.1

The second one looks like an integer (68 / 70 / 72), and the first is actually the second half of a double. Subtract 4 from that address and change the type to double (or just search using the double type in the first place).

The second value you see (float values around 10^-43) is probably worthless to you; ignore it. Just change the first one.

Look at the the first address, that one with 4.5390625 value.

Double click on it (in "address" column):
- change the address - subtract 4 (do it in hex)
- change type to "double"

You will see 1104.0 value.
