|
|
Americans do not want someone to tear down the system, because the system is already torn down. They want a return to normalcy in our institutions, a flashback to the time before Trump. Pete's charm will convince anyone who listens that he is far more intelligent and more on base with the average American than anyone else running.
The theme of 2016 was a change election. 2020 will not be a change election, but an election of returning to norms.

I'd disagree, but let me break down why you are wrong.
1st: The top three candidates are Warren, Sanders, and Biden. Notice something? They were the three most recognizable names going into the race. The eternal daily drama engulfing the White House has been taking all of the oxygen out of the newsrooms and popular culture. Most Americans do not know anything about the 20+ candidates running.
2nd: The population sample that is the most educated voter, by far, is the first voting state of Iowa.

Here's the most recent CNN poll for Iowa. Pete is the most favorable, the front runner, and the most agreeable in policy. The take away? The more people hear him speak, the more likely he becomes the frontrunner.
3rd: A ham sandwich would beat Trump at this point, Americans are over him. Whoever wins the Democrat primary will be president.

Trump's personality was novel, entertaining and interesting in 2016, now it is normal, boring and troublesome.
