Hello everyone.

Cheat engine is pretty powerful. So thanks for that.

I've been trying to modify the memory page of Miniclip's 8 Ball Pool in Bluestacks to mess with the position of balls on the table (I understand the ball positions are stored server side, but I'm looking for something else here).

I've been able to pinpoint the memory address for balls coordinates by placing them at particular positions. However, this seemingly has to be repeated for every new game as no static pointers can be found due to the game running in an emulator (Bluestacks). My solution was to find the positions of balls at the start of the game when the balls are placed at particular positions on the break shot. This way, finding the address for the cue ball (white ball) was easy because its initialized position is always the same value. However, it's not the case for the other balls since a small value is added to their position to randomize their movements after the break shot. Still, the coordinates are almost similar for balls and vary within a specific range. The problem is that despite limiting this interval within the smallest range possible, about 200 results are returned for that position. So, to further limit the results, I was thinking of including the range for the Y coordinate into the search given that I've discovered that the X and Y positions are stored in consecutive addresses (i.e. in the same structure). However, ranged values are not accepted as input in group scan. So, I was thinking maybe this could be done using a Lua script or something? but I'm not very familiar with scripting in Cheat Engine. So any help is appreciated.

tl;dr, I need to scan each two consecutive addresses for values within two specific ranges.
