Using an emulator to play some old games, many of the addresses are static and easy to find, but have come across an address which is static but wont wont change or freeze.

If i go to find what accesses this address it points me to an an address which has lots and lots accessing it and seemingly cant be changed or modified.

Is it possible to find what is writing to the address i want, so i can change / freeze it ?

see if the emulator has a debugger for the instructions it's executing.
Remember, it's an emulator, it's emulating a different CPU architecture, that uses different instructions which uses different bytes and likely different ways of storing multi-byte numbers.
CE's find what accesses only knows about the native x86_64 code running on your CPU not the emulated CPU in the software, that's just data to it.

Unfortunately I haven't really done anything with emulators so that's about as much info as I can give here.
