Hi guys. I've recently found the address responsible for composing outgoing packets for an online game.
[bytes] [Opcode]
68 DCBF7B00 push game.exe+3BBFDC
E8 33FDFFFF call game.exe+269450
By breakpointing the call address and editing the EDI register's address I can alter the packets before they are sent. My goal is to be able to send packets manually but I'm new to all this. I realize I might be being a bit ambitious as I'm still just learning Assembly and C++ but I thought i'd ask how I would go about achieving my goal. Are these addresses enough to do what I want aka send packets via a script. Without having to perform an action in game to trigger the breakpoint and then altering the EDI register. Would appreciate any responses.
